Welcome to Misty Meadow Homestead!

This summer, we realized our dream of owning a homestead in the wilds of the Pacific Northwest!!!

While we aren’t “off-grid”, we are moving toward self-sustainability and a simpler way of life, where we have more control over our environment and what we put in out bodies.

We believe in God and Country and loving our neighbor as ourselves, and have been chronicling our adventures on our blog, Facebook, YouTube, and Twitter.

We’ll be posting blogs, videos, and tweets about things like foraging, wildcrafting, food recipes, everyday life, natural remedies, carpentry, gardening. Some, we actually know what we are doing, other things we are learning and invite you to learn with us (or laugh at us)!
